Richard A. Philpot, Consultant
Before starting RAP Computer Consultants Ltd. in 2001, Richard Philpot taught computer related courses at college level for 10 years, and developed course outlines and training manuals for the following: computer courses offered by the Oshawa Senior Citizens' Centre; evening computer courses offered to adults by the Durham Region Catholic School Board; web design; programming; Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Access; various e-mail programs; computer diagnostics and repair; software and hardware integration; and many other programs. He has outstanding computer software skills using Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Richard has been working with the not-for-profit environment since 1994 as a volunteer and as part of his IT consulting business. He has an understanding of the not-for-profit environment and has worked with volunteers in various organizations.
Richard's experience in industry and not-for-profit groups, combined with his knowledge of technology, gives him a unique perspective on how to help clients learn and benefit from the technology they have available; what technology they should consider for the future; and what data software should be developed to increase the efficiency of their business.

Sandy Philpot, Administrator
Sandy has been working with Richard since the inception of RAP Computer Consultants Ltd.. Before taking on a full time position with RAP, she worked for 23 years at The Presbyterian Church in Canada National Office in Toronto. Sandy's organizational skills, computer skills and administrative background have been an asset to the business.
